Description

Still working on this model, I hadnt touched this for months and seeing as I have time to work on my own 3D I've decided to fix him up and try get him done.

I've changed a fair amount such as the nose, eyes, lips have been added, teeth have been added+removed and going through more tweaks, added cheekbones and pulled out the jaw a little bit.
I've also started playing around with getting some settle detail (not shown here).

it is improved. If I can, here are some (modest) advices:

I suggest you to 'play' with it more often, ( as it is possible) (each session will give you an improvement)
I suggest before a sculpt session, to "swim" into visual references related to your model (devil).
It will prepare your mind/brain, give it visual feature  placement, proportions, etc that will be helpful (even unconsciously).
( anatomic references, can be drawing/sketches)
A part of our progression stays in the confidence. So sometimes, (after saved your project), play with your model in a manner that you don' t care about the result if it is bad (coz CTRL Z is always a frend^^). Big changes, rotations, etc It will help you to be more confident.  I think, or at least, to make you realize that you can do all what you want

It is clear that beginning in sculpture is something special because we start from 'nothing'. We have to clear our mind of how we think or see the form is, but how the form is in reality. Watching at references prepare your brain and it is a plus that will grow if you continue to eat photo/image references, and if you persist on your sculpt session.
Add anatomic references, continue sessions (even if it is not every day or week), think in term of confidence (idea that you can do what you want) and I am sur you will improved more & more your sculpt.
To finish, I would add that progression (sculpt) is somehow exponential ( at least the begining of the curve ),
so when progress will be clear for you, you will earn more confidence, etc, and I think nobody can stop you to sculpt after you realize it ^^

Anyway,

good continuation ^^

ps: so it is winter in Autralia ?
